Zipline Adventure Tour at the Resort Summit

The Angel Fire Zipline Adventure Tour is the first of its kind in New Mexico. On the signature segment of the tour, adrenaline seekers will fly fifty-stories above the forest floor as they traverse from peak to peak, side by side, on a 1,600' foot tandem zipline.


A zipline is a station-to-station adventure ride, which consists of a cable stretched between points of different elevations, a pulley, and a harness or bar for attaching a rider, who moves by gravity. A zipline tour connects multiple ziplines of varying lengths and descents. The Angel Fire Zipline Adventure Tour will start at the 10,600' summit of the ski mountain, and will proceed in a station-to-station tour around the mountaintop. The tour will include six separate zip line segments of varying lengths, including the one dual tandem ride. Everyone new to the sport will be offered a short "flight school" zipline near the top for lessons and practice, as well as a tandem or "racing" zipline to allow family and friends to ride side-by-side together.


The Zipline Adventure is open July thru mid-October. 10am to 5pm. Normal operations are concurrent with chairlift operations schedule (varies by season). Individual reservations and walk-ins accepted for normal operations. Advance reservations strongly encouraged. Special reservations can be accommodated for groups of 8 or more. Weather permitting.


The cost is $89 plus tax per person. Includes all required safety equipment. Maximum capacity is 10 zipline riders per tour. Tour starts staggered by 45 minutes.
Shirts (Collared shirts are best), closed shoes, and a signed waiver by participants 18 years and older are required. Parent/Guardian signatures are required for participants 17 years and younger. Weight restrictions are minimum 90 pounds to maximum 260 pounds.
