Hoofing It in and around Angel Fire

Take the reins and enjoy the cool mountain air on horseback in the Moreno Valley and Carson National Forest around Angel Fire. From an hour-and-a-half ride to a three-day guided pack trip, there’s a horseback adventure waiting for the whole family. You can even arrange a horse-drawn carriage for your wedding party.

On your ride you’ll probably see wildlife such as elk, deer, chipmunks, squirrels and lots of birds. And you’ll likely get to hear true-life cowboy (or cowgirl) stories from your guides. Angel Fire riding outfitters are skilled at working with all riding experience levels, especially children, and always maintain a safety-first policy.

For non-riders, wagon rides and cowboy dinner events are available in summer and fall. And in the winter you can enjoy a sleigh ride across the snowy landscape.
