Fall Is In The Air
It's another beautiful day here in Angel Fire. Our lovely aspens are beginning to turn golden, and in another couple of weeks the mountainsides will be on fire (so to speak!) with spectacular color. The elk are bugling, and soon they'll begin congregating on the golf course in the evenings. What a sight! Don't you wish you were here?
It's been a good summer, and as we enjoy another gorgeous fall we're all starting to think "snow." In fact we're supposed to get some overnight, though we have plenty of cool sunny days left for hiking, biking, fishing, ATV or horseback riding. And let's not forget the amazingly starry nights! How many constellations can you identify? Hmmmm . . . maybe it's time to think about coming to visit.
By the way, we're looking for pictures of Angel Fire in action -- people having fun, people doing business, our excellent array of wildlife, and so on. We're creating brand new websites for tourism and economic development, and we are also starting work on our 2010 Angel Fire Visitors Guide, and pictures are worth a thousand words, as the saying goes. Got something you think we could use? We'd love to see it. You can email your pix to Jimmy Linton, our Visitor Center manager, at jimmy@AngelFireFun.com. Don't forget to include your name and contact information!
We have a new Facebook page, too. Consider this your invitation to become a FAN of the Angel Fire Visitor Center.
