Snowmaking Begins in Angel Fire

2012-10-26  —  Snowmaking has begun at Angel Fire Resort Ski Area for the winter season. Thanks to two cold fronts hitting Angel Fire in three day, temperatures have been lowered to effectively lay down some snow. Mother Nature was tempting and the Ski Area decided it was time to help her out a bit.

With this, we begin preparations in earnest for the 2012-2013 ski season.

The “End of Days” triple season ski and bike pass is available through October 31, 2012. Check it out at the Angel Fire Resort website, and take advantage of this great deal. Daily lift tickets will be $66 for Adults, $56 for Teens ages 13-17, $46 for Juniors ages 7-12, and free for children 6 years and under. Seniors ages 70 and up will also be able to ski free. Once again, 5th graders can ski free at Angel Fire Resort. Check out the Angel Fire Resort website for details about this program.

With high-speed chairlifts on both the front and backside of the mountain, there is more skiing and shorter lift lines in Angel Fire!
