Enjoy your Holidays in Angel Fire

2010-11-23  —  Yesterday we were so happy to have a winter storm come through the Moreno Valley and drop 6 inches of new snow on the Valley floor. The snow guns are cranked up and blowing snow on the slopes every evening.

Bring the parkas and long johns, it was 2 degrees at 7:30 AM today on the bank clock. More snow coming in tomorrow and again on Monday according to the latest weather report.

Nancy stopped by from Roadrunner Tours this morning and told us the horses are harnessed and the sleighs are ready to take people out on the snow! It is a wonderful thing to do the for holiday. Give us a call here or check out this website for her reservation number. She will customize a program for your family including the sleigh and dinner, if you like! She is awaiting your call.

Although we are not open for skiing and boarding yet, there is still plenty to do in the Moreno Valley. We have a Holiday Market on Friday and Saturday at the Community Center. Opens at 10 AM both days. Lots of local arts and crafts vendors with the perfect homemade Christmas gifts! Wrapping is available too!

If you want to sit in the cabin and read a book while the snow is falling, you might want to check out the Shuter Library book sale. They are open at 9 AM Tuesday through Saturday for some great book sales. The also offer internet and have computer services for a reasonable fee.

We welcome you to Angel Fire, come up and play in the snow for the Holidays!
